Jelly In Roswell, Round 2 - WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2008!

 

 

Notes from the Organizer:

 

2/21/2008: Had another great turnout for our meet up yesterday! Six of us, mostly returning from last month, once again, spent the day in front of the big screen, chatting, re-aquainting and most importantly working. This is such a great opportunity to be exposed to other skillsets, learn a surprising amount from people you might not normally connect with and generally motivating way to spend the day. Thanks, as always, to Tony's American Bar & Grille for the generous use of their space. Truly, you should all come out if only for the food and atmosphere. It's like working in your own clubhouse. Hope to see even more of you out at the next event!

Where?

Tony's American Grille & Tap - Located on Holcombe Bridge Rd. 1/4 mile west of GA 400 @ Exit 7-B (Roswell) on the left, next to Regal Nissan. This unexpectedly comfortable restaurant is fully equipped with high-speed wifi, leather couches and plenty of table space, projection screens with laptop hook-ups, a game room and an incredible full menu is an ideal and spacious spot for collaboration or to work quietly. Easily accessible from Roswell, Alpharetta, Norcross and East Cobb.

Who's coming?

 

  • Kevin Bachman - Silver Gateway Laptop. Working on current development projects. 
  • Randall - white iBook w/ Laughing Squid and Jelly stickers.  Not sure what I'll be working on.
  • Bill O'Neill - Silver Dell laptop. Working on systems administration projects. We'll need some power strips this time around. I keep one in my backpack but I'm sure we could use more.
  • Daniel Marchant - Silver Powerbook, working on various technology projects (Tentative)
  • Erika L. Walker - Black Dell Mainframe (may need help bringing this in) working on various projects. Ok, ok... just kidding on the mainframe. Couldn't resist.  Since Cameron isn't showing, I've lost my mojo. ;)  Nah, I simply can't get away, again. I'm going to have to try the next one. Very disappointed, but I'm sure you will all have a blast. :(
  • Cameron Childress - Silver Dell Laptop - Working on Projects, wondering how I got suckered into going OTP.  Can't make it - client meeting in midtown this day.
  • Eugene Jung - LMAO @ the Dell Mainframe...IBM Laptop..oh wait, is it Lenovo now?!? I should know, I work for Big Blue...Looking forward to my first Jelly Experience!  Working on doing just enough work to not get fired.... UGH! My baby sitter had pneumonia so I am playing Mr. Mom tomorrow.  Will see you for the next one! 
  • Toby Ho - gray HP laptop. See ya guys there.
  • Mark Lesser - Silver Dell Laptop.  Working on analysis of an existing ASP.NET project and support of an existing java project.
  • Dan Councill - Silver Dell.  Will try to remember a power strip too, if I can make it.
